Interview with CPRA Chair Garret Graves to be Featured on "Dan Rather Reports" Tuesday, April 20
BATON ROUGE -- Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority Chairman Garret Graves will be featured in an episode of the HDNet news program "Dan Rather Reports" on Tuesday, April 20th at 7 p.m. CST.
Graves was interviewed by Rather, the long-time anchor for CBS Evening News, last month for the one-hour program entitled "Mudflap" which focuses on coastal land loss in Louisiana and efforts to expedite the construction of restoration and hurricane protection projects.
Rather also conducted interviews with the University of New Orleans' Dr. Denise Reed, musician and coastal wetland restoration advocate Tab Benoit, officials from the Corps of Engineers and residents of lower Terrebonne Parish among others.
Direct TV customers can view the program on channels 79 and 306, according to the Direct TV website, and it will also be available for download on iTunes after its television broadcast. DVD copies of the program will also be offered through the HDNet website located at the following link: http://www.hd.net/danrather.html.

The Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority's mandate is to develop, implement and enforce a comprehensive coastal protection and restoration master plan.
