Design Meeting for Biloxi Marsh Project Scheduled for August 24

BATON ROUGE -- The Office of Coastal Protection and Restoration will conduct a design (30 percent) meeting for the Biloxi Marsh Project on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 beginning at 10 a.m. in the 11th Floor conference room of the Chase Building, North Tower located at 450 Laurel Street in Baton Rouge.

This project is funded with the 2007 State Budget Surplus and will stabilize up to seven miles of shoreline along Lake Borgne from Jahncke's Ditch to Bayou Grande.

A copy of the preliminary design report documents for the Biloxi Marsh Project have been placed on a FTP site at the following address:

Please note that the pdf documents include the 30 percent design report, the 30 percent design drawings, the survey report, the geotechnical investigation report and the ecological review.
