Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA) Public Meetings

The State of Louisiana, in conjunction with the other Gulf Coast States and federal natural resource trustees, are conducting a Natural Resource Damage Assessment for the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill. The Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority, Louisiana's lead trustee agency for the Oil Spill, along with the Louisiana Oil Spill Coordinator's Office, the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, and the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources, are hosting a series of public meetings on this topic across coastal Louisiana. The public is invited to learn the fundamentals of the Natural Resource Damages Assessment process through these meetings and find out how they can participate in restoration planning to restore our state's natural resources injured by the spill. Members of the public may attend any meeting location listed below.
