Community Meeting on 2012 Master Plan in New Orleans on Sept. 14

Dear Community Members:

For the past several weeks, the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority has been holding a series of ten regional community meetings to share information with citizens about Louisianan's 2012 Coastal Master Plan. The final regional community meeting will be held September 14, 2011 in New Orleans at the City Park Pavilion. An open house from 5-5:30 will open the event. The meeting itself will begin at 5:30. If you haven't already attended one of these meetings, please plan to attend the gathering in New Orleans.

We're inviting those who attend our regional community meetings to give us their thoughts about coastal priorities. If you are not able to attend one of our community meetings, you can still fill out the exercise online until September 16th: CLICK HERE to navigate to our website and open the exercise. We are collecting all of the exercise results we receive, by region, and are examining the results to learn more about citizens' preferences.
