Pre-Design Meeting Notification for Expansion of
Small Scale Physical Model of Lowermost Miss. River Delta

The Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA) has been authorized to begin design of the Expansion of the Small Scale Physical Model of the Lowermost Mississippi River Delta (SSPM). The Expanded SSPM project will include a larger model domain, a more acceptable scale and distortion, and a state of the art modeling facility. Additionally, the model will be constructed using computer assisted router technology. This will allow the model bed to be customizable to facilitate newly proposed diversion locations throughout its lifespan.

The SSPM Project Team invites you to attend a Pre-Design Meeting to learn more about the SSPM Expansion effort and provide input on the design of this monumental project. Details on this meeting are listed below:
